All of the firsts!

What a difference an election makes...
From Trumps VERY white, VERY male, VERY pale and VERY stale White House to Joe Bidens cabinet... sums up the starkness of the difference between the two men and their belief systems in a way nothing else could.

Something more important that what is listed above.

Give up?

OK.

Experience and intelligence.

Male, female, age not relevant. Skin color? Not relevant. Sexual preferences? Who cares?

Now, let's stop focusing on trivialities, shall we?

It is the least trivial thing in the world to have a cabinet that looks like the diversity of 2020. That means policy represents society today not some bollocks from 1950. If women are not represented, then policies are made FOR them, not BY them, the same goes for POC, LGBTQI, First nation etc et al. So it goes without saying that they are experienced and intelligent. Of course they are, but they also bring to the table the perspective of their communities and that is important.

So lets not call the fact that they have got to to the top table in a nation of systemic white male patriarchy trivial, shall wee?

brought to the table.

The US is in a crisis situation due to Trump's, negligence, incompetence, and clear, deliberate malfeasance.

Rather than waiting for McConnell's Senate (if we don't win both runoff elections in Georgia), to deliberately hamstring President Biden to the maximum degree possible, President Biden can immediately appoint an acting Cabinet, bypassing the Senate confirmation process.

In this way, the Biden administration can get the ball rolling ASAP on dealing with the numerous disasters caused by Trump's foolishness, and deliberate malice.

How strange to feel so good when a POTUS actually does the right thing.
Every one of trump's cabinet picks were designed to wreck the department they led.
Having a Native American as Secretary of the Interior is wonderful.
Thanks for your post.

We just can't take any more House members from states with Republican governors. A Native American at interior is a stroke of Genius
