Group Seeks Release of U.S. Torture Tapes

MANHATTAN (CN) - The Center for Constitutional Rights wants the Pentagon, CIA and Justice Department to disclose the interrogation tapes of accused Sept. 11 hijacker Mohammed al Qahtani, the only Guantanamo detainee that officials admit was tortured.

In a telephone conference Monday, attorneys from the rights group said they have seen the classified videos, but have been gagged from describing them.

"I can say that I found them very disturbing, sickening even," said Sandra Babcock, adding that the videos "have the power to change the debate" on Guantanamo and indefinite detention.

Captured in the Battle of Tora Bora, the U.S. government accused al-Qahtani of plotting to be the "20th hijacker" in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

They psychopath class has been working hard for years, to soften us up to the idea of torture. They get us
to accept torture, and use fear and Al-Queda boogeymen to move us along into acceptance.

As more Americans accept torture--they'll be begin to demonize certain groups of people--and position
them as on par with "terrorists". Maybe they'll redefine what a terrorist is (peaceful protesters, anyone
who objects to our Fascist government).

When the psychopath class convinces Americans that certain people in this country are not only
unAmerican and unpatriotic--but "terrorists" that's when the circle is complete.

With Americans accepting torture and with targeted groups being demonized--they'll be able to torture
American citizens. And because of the NDAA that Obama inked recently--these American citizens can
be detained indefinitely and never heard from again.

Anyone who doesn't see the march to Nazi tactics in this country is living in a fool's paradise.

Next time Cheney appears on TV to sell his book this film should be shown. Let people see what this man is really all about.
