Who and when will Biden pick his Attorney General?

I think that he's waiting to see if Georgia gives him 2 Dem senators. I would love to see Adam Schiff as AG.

Your opinion please.

19. I agree, Biden has taken 3 congress people already and

the margin is very slim now. I really like Schiff but right now he will be needed for investigations in the house to go to the AG. I keep wondering if Biden is waiting to see if the dems win Georgia, to know if he can get his pick through the senate.

Someone who would take the crooks to the woodshed.

4. Yes, Schiff!

Others have said he us being groomed to be the next Speaker.

But, imo, Schiff "interviewed" for AG during impeachment & hit it so far out of the park, it's still flying!

I believe you are correct on Joe waiting.

We need a fucking bulldog AG who will not hesitate to take them ALL down!

6. Yes.. I think the GA election will absolutely determine his final choice, given some will be harder

to confirm--clearly.

7. Jones and Garland. I have been thinking about it and I think both choices shows a propensity to

move on. Not the pit bull type. I was having conversation with adult son the other day. we will see, but disappointed. So meh... whichever.

9. If Mitch still runs the senate,

I doubt that he would let Adam Schiff get confirmed as AG.

10. Fresh blood please...and preferably not an old white guy.

I am an old white guy and while Schiff is certainly capable, I think someone new to DC would be good. Given Kamala's background I wonder who she would recommend?

I would die on the hill for either one of them. But I want someone to take the Tangerine Tinpot down.

16. In my opinion, this AG pick is almost as important as the President.

I hope it is someone courageous with a spine of steel.

It will be needed if our country is to recover.

It is an extremely important pick.

18. Schiff would be a great AG but our majority in the House is too thin to take him from the House.

Joe has several good candidates and I leave it to him.

23. I thought I heardlast night that he was going to announce his other choices after the first of the

year. I agree that we need a Rottweiler in that spot. I'm afraid Joe's [personality will make him say "Let's just forget the past & move on. That's what we did the last time & because there was no pushback, they've done it again!

25. It does seems like he's going to wait for the GA Senate run-offs on January 5

After the idiocy of folks like Leningrad Lyin' Lindsey Graham stating he won't approve an AG who will investigate Trump's misdeeds, I think it's wise of him to lie low for just a little bit longer. If we win both seats, his hand is GREATLY strengthened.

Merrick Garland or Doug Jones sound fine to me. I would love Preet or Sally, but I don't think they would get through.

26. The more I hear and read about Doug Jones,

the more he impresses me and the more I would chose him. He successfully prosecuted two of the Birmingham Church bombers, more than 35 years after the bombing. He also coordinated the state and federal task forces in the Eric Rudolph bombing of a women's health care center in Birmingham, so that Rudolph was tried in Alabama before being extradited to Georgia for the Olympic Park bombing. (Wow, remember those days when the federal government actually prosecuted white supremacists? Those were the days!)

The right AG for these perilous times. Makes me proud to be a Californian.
