the margin is very slim now. I really like Schiff but right now he will be needed for investigations in the house to go to the AG. I keep wondering if Biden is waiting to see if the dems win Georgia, to know if he can get his pick through the senate.

Others have said he us being groomed to be the next Speaker.

But, imo, Schiff "interviewed" for AG during impeachment & hit it so far out of the park, it's still flying!

I believe you are correct on Joe waiting.

We need a fucking bulldog AG who will not hesitate to take them ALL down!

I am an old white guy and while Schiff is certainly capable, I think someone new to DC would be good. Given Kamala's background I wonder who she would recommend?

After the idiocy of folks like Leningrad Lyin' Lindsey Graham stating he won't approve an AG who will investigate Trump's misdeeds, I think it's wise of him to lie low for just a little bit longer. If we win both seats, his hand is GREATLY strengthened.

Merrick Garland or Doug Jones sound fine to me. I would love Preet or Sally, but I don't think they would get through.

the more he impresses me and the more I would chose him. He successfully prosecuted two of the Birmingham Church bombers, more than 35 years after the bombing. He also coordinated the state and federal task forces in the Eric Rudolph bombing of a women's health care center in Birmingham, so that Rudolph was tried in Alabama before being extradited to Georgia for the Olympic Park bombing. (Wow, remember those days when the federal government actually prosecuted white supremacists? Those were the days!)
