Only in the wee hours of this morning, I was rapidly flipping through the channels of my satellite service as has become my habit. Since all of them have been largely abandoned of any viewable content for the individual providers own nickel and dime mining pluses, tee-vees, maxes, and goes.

When I came across "The African Queen" exactly at the scene where Bogart climbs out of the water and discovers he's covered with leeches. Immediately, Hepburn rushes to apply a powder (baking soda?) to get the parasites to release from their blood sucking.

The palpable look of disgust on Bogart's face seeing them on him, really did make me think of how the body politic in the US is anxious to shed our current load of Trumpasites.

We studied them for a whole semester in Eng. Lit. Great stuff. Keats, not so much.
