2019 police report: Girlfriend of Nashville bomber warned he was building bombs in RV

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A police report from August 2019 shows Anthony Warner's girlfriend had warned Metro Police that he was building bombs in the RV trailer at his residence.

FOX 17 News obtained the police report on Tuesday.

Police recorded the following in the report on Aug. 29, 2019:

Warner's girlfriend told police he was building bombs in his RV and he spoke frequently about the military and bomb making. An attorney told police he believed Warner was capable of making a bomb. Police went to his home and no one answered. They observed the RV in the yard behind a fence. Police attempted to get Warner to open the door but never made contact. His home had several security cameras and wires attached to alarm sign on the front door.

Especially one with some mental health issues. They did a cursory check to do their duty and then dropped the ball. Why doesn't this shock me.
