Why Senator Josh Hawley is the one objecting to Biden's election? Here is the simple reason:

......Hawley was elected in 2018. He won't be up for reelection until 2024. By then, this vicious move by Hawley will be totally forgotten. That is four years away & he was chosen to make this move because by then, this will not be any kind of issue. Trump will be long gone, and this will not be remembered. And very likely, Hawley will get away with it. He is even being mentioned as a candidate for President in 2024. The Republican Party will go as low as anyone can imagine. That is who Republicans are and will always be.

Can’t always spend a lot of time searching for motives.

Edit: If Repukes think time heals all wounds, once again they have forgotten video. It lasts forever.

when he runs for president. Being a shameless liar is a huge plus in GOP primaries.

7. Yep, it's a way for Hawley to try to win over Trump's yahoos.

I'll bet Cotton does it too.

If Trump doesn't run, he'll still be able to pick the Republican nominee, even from jail.

11. "Trumps base" is a majority of the GOP, but that's not enough to win elections

38 to 40% won't win an election.

Hawley is the better bet to get it, imo. Getting that, he'll get the nomination, and all of the current Republicans will fall in line behind him eagerly.

We're getting a breather with the Biden/Harris win. That's all. We need to get our act together as Dems and try to engineer a truly dominant position in the culture and among a clear majority of voters. I'm very hopeful Biden can get somewhere. I'm also hoping Trump goes down in flames, either going to jail or going bankrupt (or preferably both) and drags the Republican Party down with him.

Stacy Abrams brought this up, that the DNC starts up with a campaign then goes away when it's over. We need to be a party that is present, listening and learning all across the country all the time. This is how we will win the hearts of the populace, by being there constantly and consistently. This is how we can react to the gerrymandering in real time in stead of once every ten years. This is how we can change laws about banking, housing, job creation, etc. to be more effective and meaningful.

win-win for us.
