Question on stimulus check

I'm 73, retired, and my only source of income is social security. Will we SSI recipients get a stimulus check. Or is that only for people who filed unemployment. I did get that first check a year ago.

thanks

1. You'll get one. I'm in the same boat, and the $600 payment is pending in my account for Jan. 4th.

2. These $600 direct payments should go to the same people that got $1200 earlier this year. ( n/t )

3. 600 bucks hooray

Not really. I'm appalled. While it may put some groceries on some folk's tables, it is completely inadequate to address the need in this country.

4. From what I read, you will get the money if you make less...

Than 75,000 a year.
Aside from that, I think our Government is giving us that money via a printing press.

6. Appears those direct deposits

will come within days of our regular SS payments.

And here we go again, how many of those who did not get a check in the first go around fall through the cracks once again.

7. If you got the first one (around March of this year) you should automatically get the second one.

This part has nothing to do with unemployment.

Hoping we donít get ours before the first because due to a layoff in November,, our tax rate will be much lower next year.

8. If you worked long enough you should be receiving Social Security Retirement not SSI.

SSI is a welfare program. You will get the stimulus check by direct deposit if that is how you get paid for SSR otherwise they will mail you a check.

9. I got my first check by direct deposit like my SS checks, and I expect to get this one the same way.
