Dr. Drew tests positive for COVID-19

Celebrity doctor Drew Pinsky, famously known as “Dr. Drew,” revealed this week that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

The diagnosis comes months after Pinsky apologized for downplaying the threat of the pandemic in a video that went viral on social media.

In a Tuesday Instagram post, Pinsky, 62, can be seen lying in bed holding up a bottle of an electrolyte drink while his wife wears a face mask nearby. The caption noted that his wife tested negative.

“Drew is home, under survelliance and fever is down,” the post read. “Thanks Dr. Zelenko, Dr. Yo and Dr. Jeff for the superior care and advice. Drew is feeling better and will hopefully get well soon.”

For Pinsky, Dr. Oz, and all that cretinous ilk to profess expertise that they did NOT have, medical license or no, to make recommendations, pronouncements and set expectations for the public that cost lives, is really unforgivable. One can be wrong in medicine with something that affords many unknowns, but it is forgivable only when one self-educates, listens, and learns from others BEFORE offering an opinion

He DIDN'T downplay the virus. He just suggested we go on with everything as normal & let the virus run its course.
We'd be at a million plus dead right now had his advice been followed.
First, do no harm. A million dead.
Second, this "genius" was worried about the economy. Dead people are terrible consumers.

He contributed greatly to problem, letting faux leverage the gravity of "doctor". He later said he was wrong? The glue was out of the tube and fully cured. Saying it later accomplished nothing.
