What to expect: Trump will soon be calling himself the "Real President" from the sidelines

After the majority of GOP House Reps support Trump in his quixotic bid to steal the election, with the outcome that Trump loses again, what will Trump do?

I think he will call himself the "real President Trump" from the sidelines and order his GOP minions not to cooperate with President Biden. He will be the GOP's Simple Simon, calling the shots. Most of the cowards in the GOP will follow his every whim. He will then run for his "third term" in 2024-- too bad for the GOP hopefuls like Senator Hawley. Expect lots of rallies from the "real Airforce One"-- a replica that will have to be created by his rich billionaire friends.

I wonder if he will go as far as to have the real State of the Union Address etc. ? Probably.

Why? His huge ego demands that he be the "leader" and that means he will never, ever admit he lost.

The consequences? Expect MANY filibusters in the Senate, if Democrats manage to seize control. If the GOP retains control, then almost no votes will be held and there will be few compromises to be had. Mitch will see to this no matter what Trump does, but Trump will make things worse.

not sure if that is possible. At least that would stop the rallies.

Insane people tend to do that.
Besides, it's what we call him that counts.

after Trump became president should understand presidential power is extremely real. January 20 at noon, it's Biden's.

and Biden will only be able to use executive power-- even with Senate majority of VP Harris, if the GA elections are favorable. The filibuster will stop everything. Might happen anyway, even if Trump doesn't misbehave, but a sure thing if he does.

Forgive me for repeating myslef from other threads...

He'll continue to relase these odd, no-media-in-the-room "statement" videos. He can have a big sign behind him that says "President Donald J. Trump." No Presidential seal though, but he'll probably break that rule as well. In his mind, once a President, always a President.

There will be official looking visits to Mar-a-Lago by Trumpy Republicans and rare foreign nationals. All kinds of rallies. Fakery will abound. Some poll will be released asking americans who the current President is and astounding number will say Trump. He'll strut around for as long as he can pretending he's still in charge. He HAS no choice but to keep up the charade. I'm sure there's some $4.99 a month streaming service on its way. Indictments won't even faze him unless he's physically hauled away to jail.

It's all a question if the MSM will legitmize any of this.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

That Twitter closes his account after he posts something toxic. He will have to abide by TOS just like the rest.
