Legislators seem pretty shaken.

Their voices are quavering, their tone somber. I think the Repubs were caught up in some kind of trance that they seem to be waking from. What happened today is exactly what I’ve been worried about. How the Republicans handle it will determine if it is going to get worse or be resolved tonight.

Trumpers want GOP blood too for not protecting dear leader hard enough. Listen to Lee right now, he's JUSTIFYING what he's doing. He's saying "I have no choice". He doesn't want the wrath of the loonies for voting to certify, but now he has to.

When their asses were threatened, they suddenly rejected the revolution they’d been stroking themselves on.

This is the most disturbing thing I can think of since 9/11. Some of these protesters today were calling for Pence's head, because he gave Trump a sad. So, I'm sure even some Republicans are quite on edge.

I just cannot abide ... The willful ignorance at this stage is just too much. If you still think the 2020 election was blatantly stolen, then we are done. I have no more patience will your devotion to ignorance after what happened today. We are just done. Forever.
