ATTN Joe Scarborough your talk now doesn't mean shit
You helped in making this nightmare happen and all your gum flapping now doesn't change that.
You helped in installing an illegal POTUS with your work in bush v Gore in 2000 and that allowed the nightmare that is Donald Trump as President to happen in 2016 and time after time you, Mika, and MSNBC gave Trump free air time along with pushing the non story of Hillary's emails.

1. I heard some heavy sighing when they postulated Bernie Sanders would be
Last edited Sun Jan 10, 2021, 09:55 AM - Edit history (1) Budget Chairman.
Wouldn't that be such a tragedy? |

2. We have bigger fish to fry, folks. He's just a TV personality trying to go along to get along...
Now when he talks about how he was a small "r" republican, it just sounds quaint. Did he think he would get away with that scam today? C'mon, buddy...

3. In all respect Joe S. was in on the ground floor of helping to make the attack on the US ....
... Capitol happen. No bush v Gore and it would not have happened. Joe made his bones
helping to poison America with right wing misinformation and thwarting the will of the American People. |

6. Joe S. Has been the strongest anti-Trump voice on TV for the past 3 years.
Repeatedly. Consistently. Without fail. He and Mika absolutely excoriate Donald Trump. And have since 2017.

8. Trying to make amends. Which is good. But it would be foolish of us to forget
why they have amends to make in the first place. They WERE the ones who most normalized Donny Bodybags to the American public in 2016. Their judgment must always be questioned because of that.

14. Yes. Ever since Trump spoke out about Mika bleeding from her face from plastic surgery.
In reality, she had some minor work done, but of course, did not bleed in public.
When Trump turned on them, they turned against him. But, they were for Trump, until they were against him. |

and it still happened.

11. I see the poster's point. Bush v. Gore WAS a turning point in the radicalization of the right's
disregard for the laws of the land. And that radicalization has a lot to do with what brought us Donny Bodybags.

15. I don't think it would have made a difference . I think they are mostly reacting to things like
having a black President, gay rights and other social changes in the country .

17. The 2016 election (installing Trump) was highly influenced by earlier SCOTUS rulings that struck...
... down parts of the 1964 voting rights act and allowed billions of $s dirty and international money to
poison the well of America's politics with "dark money*." Both of those rulings happened because w bush was installed as POTUS because of bush v Gore and w put Roberts and Alito on the court and their votes allowed that shit too happen. * Citizen's United |

19. It underestimates how shitty many people in this country are . 74 million voted to re-elect it
after the disaster . Because they like the vileness . That's the main reason they support him .

20. The gutting of the voting rights act (and civil rights act) allowed millions of Americans (blacks)
... to be stopped from voting in 2016 and that gave Trump the election. In Wisconsin, Michigan, PA,
N.C., and Florida not only did HRC win those state in exit polls but black votes and voters were targeted with laser like focus in order to stop them from voting and that was in part a product of the SCOTUS rulings. |

4. Here is another point of view:
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
I believe in redemption. Scarborough is conservative. He says this all the time. Conservatism does not make someone a bad person. Scarborough has left the Republican Party. He voted for Joe Biden. He calls out the cult. When someone does the right thing I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. |

5. You can enjoy OAN or Lou Dobbs
What part did Joe play, in the court decisions of the Bush vs Gore election? He's never sat on any bench and neither the Florida state or it's federal electeds had anything to do with the Bush v Gore legal decisions.
I seriously doubt if Scarborough controls what is broadcast on MSNBC, even on his show, for all the free air time Trump is allowed. The producers of that network make those decisions. Joe is a news 'reader' an 'op-ed' personality. Your assumptions are not the reality of how news broadcasting actually works. So, enjoy watching the OAN and Parler news sources, as we can assume you will never watch any main stream media again. ( my assumption of your news sourcing) |

10. Joe has claimed/bragged numerous times that he has 100% editorial control.
And he seems to use that control to largely talk about himself.
Frankly, any time he is absent, the show is better with just Mika. |

I find Scarborough annoying but Republicans speaking against it is a good thing.

13. I read on MSNBC's website...
that Joe dropped the f-bomb on the air because he was so riled up re the invasion of the Capitol.
Does anyone believe he was really so overwrought? Or was it fake? I don’t know much about him at all, except he is not a Progressive. |

16. Joe's rants are a feature of the show. Mika does it too.
How much of the rants are scripted in advance probably varies from show to show, but they are his actual opinions.
Yesterday's rant against republican congress persons and lame capitol police -- equipped with major F-bomb -- was both righteous and highly enjoyable. It was Joe at his best. He's probably at his worst when he talks about himself, which is frequent. |

21. I believe there's a better than 0% chance that a year from now, Joe
is going to be pumping up the credentials of Josh Hawley for all he's worth, and trying to make him into the best possible candidate to take on Joe Biden in 2024.
