Moments ago, I spoke with Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy about the military response to the January 6 Capitol attack and ongoing security measures.

Here are the notes from my call:

The most chilling aspect of the call was that the Secretary had to say that there would be a CID review to ensure that all troops deployed on Inauguration Day are loyal and not sympathetic to the domestic terrorists. Yikes.

I guess they could deploy only non-white troops and come pretty damn close to ensuring loyalty to the country now that I think about it.
