https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9138937/Son-Brooklyn-Supreme-Court-Judge-seen-fur-pelts-Capitol-riot-arrested-New-York.htmlThe son of a Brooklyn Supreme Court judge left court wearing Baby Yoda pajamas after he was released on a $100,000 bond having been arrested by the FBI on four federal charges in connection with the riot at the US Capitol last week.
FBI agents arrested Aaron Mostofsky, 34, who is the son of Judge Shlomo Mostofsky, in New York Tuesday morning. He cried when he appeared in court and now faces up to 10 years behind bars.
The younger Mostofsky, who dubbed himself a 'caveman', has been hit with multiple charges, including theft of government property for allegedly stealing a police riot shield and bulletproof vest, unlawful entry and disorderly conduct, knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and knowingly, with intent to impede government business or official functions, engaging in disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Mostofsky made an appearance before US Magistrate Judge Sanket Bulsara on Tuesday.
Bulsara, who called the charges 'quite grave', approved Mostofsky's release on a $100,000 bond along with other restrictions that include GPS monitoring. The bond was to be secured by real estate.

(8,200 posts)These fools do not have the ability to realize that they are the ignorant victims of a loud mouthed demagogue who would bring them to the same destructive end as Hitler did for Germany. I have little doubt that he is capable of starting a nuclear holocaust that could end modern civilization for centuries.
It is frightening that so many Americans have been so easily misled. We must take corrective action that many may regard as a restriction on free speech to counteract the vicious, ridiculous propaganda that these misguided ignoramuses are consuming 24/7. I hold the so-called major networks accountable for not powerfully exposing the propaganda as lies. Far too often they have attempted to carry water on both shoulders with the false notion of that the messages of the both parties had equal value and truth. We must carefully consider that restrictions must be placed on the ability of spreading dangerous propaganda that can be believed by far too many. It is easily consumed and believed by the less educated, but is also astonishingly also shared by some of the most educated. This has to be counteracted by what some could consider an abridgment of our freedoms with forcefully exposing it as false and destructive.

(3,056 posts)Trump's biggest issue with the insurrectionists was that they looked "low class". He'd never let these people into Mar-A-Lago, and again, they're too stupid to realize he hates them.
