Top CEOs want Trump to be impeached after the deadly Capitol riot, according to a new survey by Yale

President Donald Trump should be impeached after inciting last week's deadly Capitol insurrection, the country's top chief executives say.

In a survey of roughly 40 CEOs of major US companies, 96% said Trump should be impeached and removed from office, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, the founder of Yale's Chief Executive Leadership Institute, told Insider.

"We're at a point where an attack on our system requires our system to respond," one of the CEOs, said anonymously in the institute's survey. "Impeachment is an imperative."

Note: It's no surprise that the fossil fuel industry is silent on this matter.

3. I pasted the article title in the subject line. It is a current article.

I didn't write the article or the title. I'm sure you didn't intend your comment to appear to be as arrogant as it does, fellow Democrat.

4. I was talking to the CEOs your post mentioned. Maybe not taking things personally is a good move.

That was the “fat cats” part... might have missed it if you weren’t reading what I wrote.

After all, it led you to call my post arrogant without cause, and falsely imply I might not be a Democrat, doubly causing me offense where I did you absolutely none.

An apology would be nice, if you care to make it.

6. I'm sure you didn't intend your comment to appear (come across as) as arrogant as it does.

No accusation intended whatsoever, simply an observation from my idealist personality type that arrogance was not your intention. Had I called your comment arrogant or you, yourself arrogant for making it I can see reason for offense. I simply stated that I was sure you didn't intend for it to come across the way it did.
No offense was intended in any way but I see that my observation did cause offense none the less. For that I apologize.
As far as calling you a fellow Democrat; It was simply a statement of fact and to solidify the idea that we're on the same team here. Again, apologies.
