Just got a Covid-19 Vaccine appointment for this Thursday. Yayz! What a relief.....

....to finally see a personal end to this. Got to love Washington State and their Department of Health. Filled out the eligibility form online, got approved (over 65) and they sent the approval to my provider. In a total of 20 minutes I had the appointment made. Way cool. Jay Inslee our Governor ROCKS.

Extremely excited to be this close and hope I don't mess up before I get the call and catch it. It will be a year soon since I started my "hibernation"

Have appointments set for Friday. Cannot wait to start the process toward normalization! Of course, tomorrow is one of the 1st steps. And so proud of our Governor Inslee to get this ball rolling.

A drive thru, part of a line that snaked around through a fairground. Medical/military combined. Filled out a form, showed them my appt., exchanged greetings with some really happy people, got a shot I didn’t feel and still don’t, pulled up and let someone time me to be sure I didn’t swell up, and I was done. With a reminder that I have another appt. to make.

On the way back I listened to the memorial with Joe and Kamala, that incredible music, and those sweet, utterly choked up news anchors. This time tomorrow I will have survived one of the worst things in modern history, and once I get that second shot I’ll get beyond the other.

All those people. I’m so glad they did that ceremony.

I had the first shot last Saturday. Was really tired that night, but don't know if it was from the vaccine or anticipating getting it. Otherwise, I was fine. My arm wasn't even sore.

I'm scheduled to get mine tomorrow.

If all goes according to plan, it will feel rather good after this past year of uncertainty, misinformation, fear and isolation.
