Thoughts on masks in cold weather

I am in the Northeast, and wanted to say hiw much more comfortable masks make me when I go out in the cold. The warmer, moister air does not irritate my throat the way cold, dry air does. It is more comforable for me to be active outside now.
I will not go back post-pandemic, even if I switch to masks designed specifically for cold weather.

2. My wife and I were on a walk the other day

Up here in north Idaho. We were commenting on how much nicer it was this year with our masks on.

Silver linings...

3. They do help keep the face warm...

I think that's why skiers wear them.

4. Are any DUers in cold, MAGA areas noting more use outside now it is winter?

This might not be associated with any increase in indoor use?

5. Midwest here.

I kind of agree. Iím tired of getting my face frozen. Unforeseen bonus of mask wearing.

7. I wear mine when jogging in Northern Michigan.

Does warm the air I breath. Started in the fall and found it blocks allergens to.

8. I agree

I went hiking over the weekend and was surprised that no other hikers wore them. It felt good in the cold air.

12. Prevents diseases other than covid, too

They've been popular in Asia during the cold and flu season for a long time.
