Pres. Biden needs to offer Sen. Toomey (R-PA) a plum ambassadorship

maybe to the UK or France. He's retiring anyway in 2022. This would allow us to get to 51 votes, which does make a huge difference. Gov. Wolf would be able to appoint his replacement.

Short of a federal judgeship, I'd be ok with just about anything. Having a 51-49 advantage in the Senate would make all the difference.

Mastriano belongs in prison as a seditionist.

@JohnFetterman
To be clear, Senator Mastriano and *every PA Republican Senator* voted for Act 77 Vote by Mail.

Unanimous.

In fact, it was
💯
a PAGOP bill.

👉
Dems wanted to push it back to 2021. PAGOP forced it for 2020.

You can’t make this up.

What I see as more plausible is targeting Murkowski to become an Independent who caucuses with the Dems like Sanders and King. Schumer could give her whatever committee assignments she wants. She's got some seniority that might even translate into a committee chairmanship.

But he has seemed to find his balls lately. I’ve found his recent reasonableness suspicious, like he wants a cabinet post or something.

... First off - I doubt Toomey will budge ....
his only virtue is tenacity -- as odious as he is he's persistent
... More importantly, Wolf is obliged to appoint a R for a vacated R seat ---

as an aside - there are a lot of dreadful Rs with high visibility in this state; we could do worse - believe it or not
