My project for today: Larry Rendell Brock

THIS asshole...

?width=&dpr=1.600000023841858

When I saw that pic for the first time, I said..."Officer...Lt. Col or above...air of command...he's in charge of something." Sure enough...

I want to know if he was just a mindless MAGAhat or part of some large Plan. I've read all I can about him, and I still can't figure it out.

Anybody got any observations about this guy?

Age: 53
Arrested or charged on: Jan. 9, 2021
Home state: Texas
Charges
Knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds

What happened
Brock, a retired Air Force officer, was seen in photos in the Capitol wearing a green helmet, tactical vest and military patches. After he was identified in photos holding plastic zip-tie handcuffs, he gave an interview to The New Yorker. The story stated Brock said he had gone to D.C. to demonstrate peacefully after hearing the president ask his supporters to be there.

Brock was obviously lying in his interview, you don't bring zip ties to a peaceful protest.
And I did not buy the story he just found them and picked them up.

And if it was to be a peaceful protest, why do you need to wear combat gear?

Online sources state that some of the patches this guy is wearing are tied to white supremacists groups.
Friends and family say he had been increasingly radicalized and racist over the years.

This guy is an academy grad, and retired AF officer.
That means he received a free education with living stipend.
Good job with excellent benefits.
Now he is on a Lt Col retirement income.
All on the taxpayer dime.

A judge released him from custody despite the FBI warning that he could commit more violence.

This is a man who is racist to the core, and who is white male privilege in action.

he was chiding those around him about showing respect to where Pence sits in the Senate, and how this is an "information" war, and they have to be careful with their actions and messaging--husband is a retired AF officer as well, and he just laughed at this guy trying to get these nutcase civilian goofballs to follow his orders, like it was the good old days and he was still in command. I'm really not sure if he would have become violent--but he was certainly earnest in his mission.

She said they were in a science class and he was a white supremacist back then. He hung out with the science teacher but I haven't found out much about him except for that tidbit.

I don't know why the Judge would allow him to go home after being arrested, but the FEDs should collect his ass and deport him to DC.
