Restraining Order

I apologize if this has been discussed, but why can't Speaker Pelosi get a restraining order against the crazy Qreene? She has called for the Speaker to be killed, and is obviously deranged and a danger. I think a one hundred yd. order would be reasonable, but I'll leave it to Speaker Pelosi to say how far the freak needs to be from her to make her feel safe.

2. Congress is a world that operates by its own rules

and is expected to manage and discipline its own members. One of the rules of Congress has to do with the speech and debate clause, which with some exceptions insulates members from prosecution or civil liability for actions they take while they are at work in Congress. Members of Congress therefore have been able to get away with some bad behavior that went unpunished by the legal system.

For example, a few years before the Civil War, Rep. Preston Brooks (SC) entered the Senate chamber, angered by an anti-slavery speech by Sen. Charles Sumner (MA), and repeatedly struck the senator over the head with a cane, injuring him badly. Brooks was not prosecuted. A committee recommended expelling him from Congress but the resolution didn't get a 2/3 majority.

3. Rep Cori Bush

Rep Bush requested to be given a different office away from the nutjob. There are others (AOC, Omar, Pressley...) that could join with the Speakers request of a court order. Maybe they will be able to put Qreene's desk in the parking garage.

If Greene comes after her, that would be Greene’s biggest mistake in her life.

7. No. Speaker Pelosi isn't playing because she doesn't seem to play with serious issues.

Who needs a gun in a place, that on normal days (sans the riot day) has layers of protection. Honestly, anyone but a sworn federal police officer who brings a gun to the buildings should have it taken away and stored at the entrances.
