Supposedly, though, all of Trump's exhortations to "march to the Capitol" and "fight" or "lose the country" had no effect at all on the armed loonies chanting "Hang Pence!"

(25,457 posts)The problem for them is that "he told me to" isn't a defense.

(82,849 posts)Could it be because Trump incited them to go on a riotous rampage? So many conflicting narratives! There didn't seem to be much ambiguity in real time on January 6. The insurrectionists were firmly convinced of the righteousness of their actions and the justice of their cause. Now, as they're being held responsible for their criminal actions, it's all whining and finger pointing by these he-man patriots. Not a Nathan Hale in the bunch.

(15,935 posts)I have been going through the various videos I can find and going through step by step Fram by frame and documenting everything I see.
I plan on talking with the FEDs to help anyway I can.
I think every American should watch the videos step by step frame by frame. You will experience shear hate and anger. I really feel for the unprepared (by design) Officers. What they experienced must have been extremely frightening. The MOB were scary AF!
