What's with this "due process" crap

How can they say that the defendant has no lawyer when they're the lawyers.
This is not a court of law, but an impeachment trial.
Are they playing to the insurrectionists who have no vote in this?

to the House impeachment, which the defense has said before did not allow fatnixon to defend himself ..

Or the notion that due process starts ONCE you are indicted.

Sadly, they are correct, and much of the base will believe literally ANYTHING that reinforces their bias, reality be damned.

that the Senate functions under different rules.

Sounds like the defense lawyers want it both ways. They are basically criminal lawyers and don't have the understanding of how this impeachment trial works.

Also-they gave Tr**p a chance to appear and he declined.
