I once knew a guy on the more-or-less local pool tournament circuit. Decent player, but a bizarre attitude. There are a number of archetypes in that little world - those that whine when they lose, or try to find external causes beyond their control, those that gloat, some have a very inflated vision of their talent.

In this guy's case, he was so addicted to whining that he whined when he won. He was the only one I ever encountered like that.

The GOP has all of those whining skills polished to a fine sheen.

While conventional wisdom continues to espouse how divided progressives are and nothing can be done, Joe is getting it done under the radar. Or rather, hidden in plain sight.

Republicans don’t know what boring, good government looks like, so Biden’s making gigantic structural changes right under their noses. And the benefit of that approach is that by the time they notice how much it cost because they were snoozing, the tangible benefits of the policies/programs are wildly effective and popular with the public. They work.

So ssssh. Let ‘em think nothing’s happening. 😂
