If I were President Biden, I'd head to Texas as soon as it is safe to do so. (Original Post) NNadir Feb 2021 OP

...at all.

I missed your post, but I certainly and clearly applaud your statement.

There has been some schadenfreude in this community, which is regrettable, but I'm confident that overall, DUers have higher values than those engaged in schadenfreude.

Republican rule has been exposed for the sham it is, and this is a president who connects with people, not just their baser emotions.

The thing is, this is a horrible crisis, but it's also a short lived one. It will be 60 across Texas next week. Power will start being restored everywhere soon. So this is low hanging fruit politically, go in, provide some federal help, look like a hero a week later when it is all resolved.

They are to my knowledge though, the only state whose infrastructure sucks, and has been sucking for quite a while as far as I've heard.

Joe was asked for assistance - he sent it.

What more can he do?

My niece went to Texas to attend graduate school.

President Biden has made it clear that he wants to be President of all Americans, those who are not responsible for these mistakes, as well as those are responsible.

When I've made a mistake that has a negative impact on my work or my life, I always feel better about a person who generously helps me out of the mistake and who also shows me how to not make it again.

In my lifetime, to my surprise, I saw Georgia go blue. Texas cannot be far behind.
