I love it! ("hark" actually means listen, but somebody who beseeches somebody to hark is a Harker to me!)

A pastiche on the subject of wet-piled pu'er tea in the style of Jonathan Harker's journal earned me the name I now hold.

I just changed mine from”BlueDawn” to “Blue Dawn.”

It had no space when I first joined DU because I made a mistake when typing it! So, this works well for me today!

Thanks for the opportunity to change it, Earl and others!

Let's say you suddenly notice "Hamberder" with 28,932 posts and you know you've never seen that name before. So then you're wondering "Who the heck was that previously?" There should be a grace period of a few weeks so we can get accustomed to the new identities.

I would be wondering, too.

Suggestion: Is there a way for a period of time to place the previous name in parentheses along with the new name?

Example: Hamberder (previously Covfefe)

Does that make sense?

and at the bottom of their post it reads "formerly known as" or something, so we'll have a chance to adjust. Admins thought of that, fortunately!

I see no need to change it now. Even though I've moved from CA to AR, arguy just doesn't sound right.
