Muscle aches, 100.1 fever, nasty headache...and an absolute sense of gratitude and luck. I might make it yet, and hold the grandbaby I’ve never touched.

I feel oddly guilty but that’s 1960s-70s female training.

She got sick about 8 hours in and stayed really sick for about 36 hours. I couldn’t get her to eat anything. She said “I can’t tell you how bad I felt.” But now 8 hours after she got over it she feels fine.

I feel kind of guilty that I didn’t feel bad at all.

I am in group 1c and vaccine not available to me yet here in OH. Hopefully soon. I have registered though.

But my 87 year old mom got her first Phizer shot on Jan 15 at her assisted living home. Unfortunately some one who had been out of the facility came back in to her wing and was positive on about Jan 17th and mom was got it and tested positive on Jan 20th.

She was taken to a covid wing at a nursing home and treated with predizone and fortunately did not go on a vent but was coughing up chunks for weeks though.

She has had some additional mental confusion, but is back to her assisted living room this week. It was definitely touch and go for a while.

So don't let you guard down yet.

We think I got Covid Thanksgiving 2019. I was in the hospital for a week. All they could tell me was it was some sort of rhinovirus. When I'd cough, I'd pass out. It felt like Pneumonia but no fever.

‘It’s not time to take off our masks,’ Austin Public Health says as COVID-19 vaccination at just 6 percent

AUSTIN (KXAN) — With only about 6% of the county’s population aged 18 and over being vaccinated, health officials say the idea of the mask mandate being lifted doesn’t sit well with them and it shouldn’t end anytime soon.
