CBS Sunday Morning...no more masks?
Turned on CBS Sunday Morning a bit late this morning. Segment was about Point Robert’s, WA and how Covid and Canada’s restrictions have devastated the town. But the interviewer and many he spoke with were NOT wearing masks
Uhhhhh

1. I caught part of that, not all. What I heard was about the economic devastation. And while
the interviewer and those being interviewed that I saw weren't wearing masks, they were standing well away from each other, outdoors.

4. I went to South Georgia on business Friday. Went inside of three businesses and past scores of them
I didn't see a damn soul wearing a mask. Did the virus end and someone forgot to tell me? It is funny, because in Tallahassee, Fl., 40 miles away you still have probably an 80% compliance rate. I guess Georgians just don't fear death.

5. Here's a link to the video. You'll see some people are wearing masks. You'll also hear, at the
start of the video, that there has been only 1 case of COVID there since the pandemic started a year ago. Because of that and their being cut off, they probably don't see much need for masks -- though again, some residents shown in the video ARE wearing masks.

8. How far apart were they? Interviews are frequently without masks, but well distanced. nt

9. I've been to Port Roberts and stayed with Canadian friends who have a cabin there.
We went through the border checkpoint twice a day to go to Vancouver. It's a sleepy place, very much a resort vibe.
