Along with the others who were approved by the Senate yesterday. I suspect that is one reason why the signing of the ARP will be tomorrow.

I never trusted a lifelong Republican to do the job fairly from the start. I knew nothing would come of it when Mueller was named and Mitch talked about how honest he was

To me it looks like he was blocked from doing his job from the get go. Rosenstein limited his
work to just Trump and Russia and then Barr put in his caveat that you can't indict a sitting
President .... game over. Mueller indicted lots of people but Barr and or Trump quashed or
dismissed those indictments, Barr and Rosenstein blocked Mueller from indicting Trump, and
then hid the full Mueller report.

BTW I got sucked into the Rosenstein is a good guy and cares about "the rule of law" story.

Barr came in to shut down and hide Muller's work but I think Trump's trying to violently
overthrow the government was too much even for Mueller and that is why he quit.

It may not be the report itself, but who told who to break the law and subvert democracy. And that thread should be chased down all the way to the beginning. We need the full story.

... largest crime spree ever committed in American history. Murder, bank fraud, treason, election rigging,
spying, cyber crimes, cyber hacking, selling out of our allies, propaganda, riots, massive disinformation
programs, trying to overthrow our legally elected government, and the poisoning of millions of minds
with Trump's lies and racism.

Every time Trump said "the Russian hoax" or "fake news" he was lying.

But I stand by mine. You can't expect a lifelong Republican to do the right thing when it comes to prosecuting fellow Republicans. You just can't ! I think the impeachment showed that.

Time has passed, Trump is no longer in office, his supporters and the Republican Party don’t care how many crimes he committed or if he was an actual Russian agent working for Putin (though he’s too ignorant to be a real agent). I have no evidence, but I believe that Trump secretly pardoned himself, Jared, Ivanka, and Jr. before he left office. It just seems unlikely that he wouldn’t try to protect himself. Whether that would hold up in court is untested.

I want to see Trump and family punished for all they did, but that does not win voters. What Biden and Democrats are doing right now with the stimulus is what wins voters. And if he is able to get an infrastructure bill passed, that will create jobs and help the economy, which also wins voters. That doesn’t mean that Trump shouldn’t be indicted for crimes in office, but I believe Biden is right to stay out of the fray and to focus on the positive things he is doing for the poor and working class Americans.

The media spent much of Trump’s presidency, at least in the last two years, reporting Trump’s lies (mostly after the fact when fewer people would be paying attention) and telling the public of crimes committed. Around 74 million people voted for him anyway. It was mostly his response to the virus that cost him the election. Sad to say, but think nothing in the Mueller Report is likely to damage him now with Republican voters.

... and I don't think Bill Barr is going to voluntarily help him one bit. Barr has most likely broken many laws himself, so he has no choice but cover Chump as long as he can. My guess is that Barr has some good stuff on Chump locked away for a rainy day.

We'll never see any of it though.
