(2,804 posts)My guess 40% as we are very red upstate, lean red on the island and lots of wealthy folks in and around NYC. Can't set the odds until we determine the Democratic front runner. Big problem is the press is following Jarvanka & Trump's strategy of letting it hit blue states hard and then push blame over to the democratic party and governors rather than mention that the CDC recommended the nursing home policy, as that all happened while this spread like wildfire due to Presidential and Conservative News misinformation.

(37,449 posts)I hear there is lots of Republican itching in Westchester again and Long Island. They had to knock down Cuomo, Boylan lost her congressional primary against Nadler, is presently running for Manhattan Boro President, for someone who was actually fired, she sure has raised her progressive platform.
The more you look the more its following a pattern from the 2020 election.
The Nursing Home death counts was investigated by the NY AG's office
Gov. Andrew Cuomo's administration had not been including nursing home patients who died after being transferred to the hospital in its tally of over 8,500 nursing home deaths. Data provided to the attorney general's office from 62 nursing homes "shows a significantly higher number of resident COVID-19 deaths can be identified than is reflected" in the official count.
Its being made out to be the some major crime....Find me another state that didn't do the same thing. This was happening even before the lockdown.
