Here's a good run down of all that's in the Georgia Voting law.

Besides the "No food or drinks" rule, I think the control of the make up of the Elections Board by the legislature is the biggest concern.
Control will clearly go to the party in control of the state houses: GOP.

But, I suppose, this allows them to just dictate a 100% white republican state government and congressional delegation.

be provided outside 150 feet of polling place. I think that is pretty minor.

My main concern was the voter ID required on absentee ballots. It appears in addition to driver's license or state ID number, you can also enter last 4 digits of SS number. Thus, don't see the ID for absentee voting as a big deal.

Control has been with GOPers for years, so that it not as big a deal. Admittedly, I can imagine cases of abuse, but that could have happened last election. The Secretary of State could have called for a reelection or declared it tainted, neither he nor governor did that.

All in all, considering the proposals that didn't end up in the legislation, we can overcome this. Despite what some people seem to think, Democrats are not stupid and helpless.

It seems it is more the Republicans trying to calm down their base and show their base that they are listening to their concerns about "Voter Fraud". Their voters, remember, are listening to a constant refrain from Fox and RW radio about the election being stolen.

Stacy Abrams will make sure the work she and her groups have done getting people registered will not fall by the wayside. Hopefully Warnock can stay in there through the 2022 election and keep the Senate under Schumer's control.

Right?
