Dr. Birx "very uncomfortable" in call with Orange Julius. link CNN. ie. He won with intimidation.
https://www.cnn.com/2021/03/28/politics/birx-trump-covid-very-uncomfortable-phone-call/index.html
How many other agency heads and elected officials did he do this to? I'd say Don the Con, crime boss did it DAILY if not every waking moment.

1. Read this earlier today. Seems like a tease.
Does he ever say why it was uncomfortable? Not in this article.

4. Intimidating in what way?
Are you over your head in debt? Afraid to lose your job? Negative net worth? Are your credentials so lackluster that you wouldn’t be able to find another job? Are you susceptible to being blackmailed? Is there something we should know?
Please...inquiring minds want to know. |

7. I've had several moronic egomaniac bosses, lady.
I'd never met or observed them prior to accepting the job, though, so I had an excuse.

9. She disgusts me. She could have quit and drawn attention to the fact we were all facing
death with the way Trump was not handling the crisis. It's hard to believe this woman didn't go hide under a rock somewhere never to be seen again.

11. Sure could have called BS and saved lives. They didn't and the pressure goes on in GOP led states.
"War" on the CDC for telling the truth. The hostile takeover of the agency, like so many other agencies, rendered it impotent. And it continues with governors like DeSantis. The war on truth continues. People need to call it out at every level.

She caved to the Trump propaganda machine and people died because she wasn't strong enough.

18. Not sure why this is happening now.
I understand the pressure to keep one's head down and protect a career. The problem is that you can destroy your reputation doing that, which is what I think happened with Birx.
I don't have much interest in watching any interviews with her and listening to any explanations from her. Unless she has some damning evidence of criminal activity by Trump, her story, to me, is pretty worthless. Her silence and her statements about Trump, "reading everything" and being one of the most scientifically literate people were just ridiculous. She provided cover for him. I can accept that she was uncomfortable and likely intimidated, but then, she should not have taken the job, or she should have quit. My main problem is with this attempt at reputation rehab. It seems self serving and isn't really offering anything substantive, that we didn't already know about. Donald Trump is a bully coward. He is a jackass. Many of us knew that from the moment he came down the "golden escalator" with his paid fans. Were I an expert, I would not have accepted any job offers knowing I would have to work with Trump. |

19. Spot on. "She provided cover for him" and "reputation rehab" sum it up. Knew when I first heard him,
and started seeing swastikas and pro-Orange crap showing up on local playgrounds. Dad was a Klansman. The apple did not fall far from the tree of Fred.
