My mother and her side of my family were Texan and I never heard them talk like that.
I find it offensive.

I guess it just depends on what nook and cranny you are from and which socio-economic class you spring from. Im from the folksy sayings (colloquialisms) yarn spinning Texan kin.

Also, she didn't invite him to the 'next press briefing', she invited him to ALL of them
