Second Moderna shot today
Arm hurts like a SOB. Hope this is the worst of it. Mentally I feel much better. Hope body will follow the same route eventually.

2. Good luck!
I had sore arm and the next day chills. Only lasted a day or so but took the wind out of my sails a bit. Husband had zero reaction to both his Moderna shots. The relief you feel over shadows any discomfort!

12. My gentleman friend reacted like your husband.
Sailed right thru. My gal pal was the same. Her husband was sick for a day.

3. Some feel poorly and some feel great.
The relief is the best feeling. I was poorly after the second for a couple days. But lived through it and so will you.

4. Had mine two days ago, just a little arm soreness and so far nothing else...
I feel good about it, especially since I live in a very red area and many aren't getting shots at all and most are no longer wearing masks...too bad for us all...

5. Hate to break it to you,
but you're likely to experience some fatigue within the next twenty-four hours.
Mild to severe, the reports have said. And mine was pretty severe. I felt like a truck had hit me. It lasted about a day. Then I woke up the day after that feeling better than I had in weeks. Get some bed rest and drink plenty of water. |

6. Good for you. Just remember, any reaction you have will go away. The protection stays.

10. Mentally - totally worth it
I have all sorts of med allergies and decided that getting vaccinated was worth the risk. Glad I did it.

7. Team Moderna here
At 24 hours+, I experienced unusual tiredness, but slept it off. Good as new the next day. Arm soreness was definitely a thing. Otherwise, great!

8. A Heads Up
I ran a fever and had myalgia in my upper back for around 14 hours. Just yesterday.
I functioned fine, but my temp bounced around from 99.2 (or so) to a high of 101.1. No chills though. Woke up around 5:30am feeling it. By 7:30 last night, it was gone. So, if you do have side effects like mine, they're inconvenient but tolerable, & it didn't last long. |

11. Watch The Alleve!
There have been several reports advising against antiinflammatory meds like ibuprofen or naproxen sodium for the side effects.
Doctors are recommending an analgesic like acetaminophen to alleviate side effects. That's what I took. Seemed to work. |

15. Had mine Wednesday afternoon, arm was no longer sore when I woke up today.
Though I did sleep a good 12 hours the next day, other than that, it was smooth sailing!

16. I was fine for about 12 or so hours, other than very mild pain and itching at the injection site.
Then the joint aches and fatigue set in, along with chills and low-grade fever. And, the joints didn't really hurt unless I was up and about. It lasted about a day. I just took it as an opportunity to be a couch potato without feeling guilty about it. I hope you have nothing planned for tomorrow, just in case...

17. Didn't feel any side effects until the next day
But I just felt like I was sick for a day. 100.5 was the highest fever I saw. And the next day I was back to normal.
