It was clear that he was the culprit, but there was never enough evidence to convict him.

12 years old, an only child. Her parents were so careful and protective of her, had her call whenever she went somewhere, to make sure she was safe. As Green put it to the poisoner, "they thought they knew all the dangers.....they just didn't know about you"

screaming about my right not to have to remove so much tamper-proof packaging in order to take a couple of Tylenol.

Yeah, I should have done that...

6. Not just Tylenol...

I had a list of other defective products where the government jumped in with all its might to protect people going back to the 50’s. (Remember Thalidomide?)

And NO ONE COMPLAINED, said the Gov’t was overreacting, or their FREEDUMBS! we’re being “violated.”

Odd, that....

The right to safety from tainted Tylenol isn’t part of our constitution, while unlimited access to fireArms of all types and ammunition is.

14. You realize people can still run stop signs, right?

Why have them then? A stop sign doesn’t prevent a car from T-boning another car at an intersection.

Drunk driving laws don’t stop drunks from driving, either. And driver’s license requirements don’t stop unqualified drivers from getting behind the wheel.

us to check the lot numbers on our Tylenol if we had it to check if it could be poison.

I was very perplexed as to why they didn't just say "If you have any Tylenol throw it away"?

Why the ef did they focus on lot numbers when kids could have poison on them I don't know.

17. Back then, there were actual moderate Republicans in office

like William Cohen of Maine, Lowell Weicker of Connecticut and John Chaffee of RI. Nowadays, the media calls a republican that goes against the party line once a year a "moderate"

And, sane conservatives as well, like Warren Rudman and Richard Lugar.
