A prediction: Joe Biden will do something significant about gun control

...I don't know when or how , but Joe Biden cares about people, and cares about the U.S.A. and I believe that he will do something about gun control. Also, what he does will be somewhat effective in controlling this awful out of control problem. Joe knows the ropes and knows how congress works, so whatever he proposes will take time, because Joe will want that proposal to be passed by congress.

But I do believe that he will do something significant because he deeply cares about people in the U.S.A. This last sentence is why Joe will be successful. Yes, this will take time, but I do think this gun control issue will be dealt with in an effective way...This is the essence of Joe Biden.

I hear what you're saying. Biden does care about people. But while he is President, he is only 1 man, and without Congress, there's only so much he can do.

This country is what it is. This isn't some new problem that we're trying to find a way out of. We've had THIS SAME EXACT PROBLEM for decades. Centuries even, if you want to be really truthful.

The horse has left the barn. We can't even get some people to wear a FUCKING MASK! Boo Fucking Hoo!!

No, I don't see it changing at any point in my lifetime, or in the next generation's lifetime. I see it as a fact of life, just like everything else. You never know when you are going to die, and America will not do a thing to prevent that from happening. In many cases, America will help enable it and bring it about faster. The fetus is all important, but once you pop out, Fuck You, you're on your own.

Too many of us just don't care. I realize there are many who do, but the others have tools at their disposal to make our side future victims. Not agents of significant change. Nothing will happen, and we'll be having this same exact discussion 1 year, 4 years or 10 years from now. We've passed the tipping point, and there's no going back.

I'm sorry for not sharing your optimism. I wish we lived in a country where your beliefs were realistic potential outcomes.

will not be easy. I think Joe Biden is an agent of .."change," and he will change this, one way or
another. Yes, I do think change is coming in ..."gun control."

the tipping point, unfortunately, will be when gun nuts open fire on some future protest of yet another gross cop killing a black person. When its obvious a few automatic weapons can kill 80, 100. 150 people in a matter of minutes on live TV I think then the NRA will have lost the battle. No looking or talking away something like that. Thats how bad this country is as far as guns....that that's probably what it would take. Believe me, I totally hope I'm wrong, but....
