Marvel Announces Captain America 4 Movie With Black Lead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Malcolm Spellman, the showrunner of Falcon and Winter Soldier, will pen the script for Captain America 4 with Dalan Musson, one of the writers from the Disney+ series.

MCU fans began speculating early Friday morning on the possibility of Falcon and Winter Soldier receiving a second season on Disney+, especially in regards to the Captain America and the Winter Soldier title reveal in the finale. "Captain America" and #FalconandWinterSoldierFinale were both top trending topics on Twitter Friday morning.

Well, didn't Capt America give his shield to Falcon in the last movie? yagotme Apr 2021 #1
Yes, but it's always more complicated than that, and the F/WS miniseries did a good job... JHB Apr 2021 #4

When he and the others went back in time, to hide the crystals, and Rogers stayed in the past, instead of coming back? Makes sense, to me.

...of fleshing it out.

Particularly for a black man, and how this country treated and still treats black men, taking up those symbols.

But I choked up when he finally took up the Cap mantle at the end. That and the Isaiah Bradley storyline and the way they went there on the role and treatment of Black people in America were really top-notch.
