Personally, I think the EPA should be investigated, gutted, & restaffed with people who aren't on the take from Dow, Dupont & others.

13. Thom Hartman has a running bet on his radio show (podcast) about this very thing.

He bet that if someone could come up with a bill or proposal initiated by a Republican and supported by Republicans that benefit Americans without the 1% getting anything they would win the prize. Sorry, but I cannot remember what the prize is at the moment. He has been doing this since the early 90's. No one has cashed in on it yet.

and even that had a huge "donut hole" that Obamacare had to mostly fill in later, and it expanded the deficit with no attempt to pay for it. Pretty slim pickings.
