There have been protests since she first assumed office, so I have no clue not only why she was reelected, but why she's gotten 1000 times worse! She was obviously unpopular, she didn't even publicize her schedule ahead of time since she knew protesters would show up. And forget about Town Halls...

They keep saying that NY-21 is a "moderate Republican" district, but her predecessor was long-time congressman Bill Owens, a moderate Democrat who retired. I went to the meetup where he introduced his chosen successor, Aaron Woolf, and I was impressed, I made GOTV calls for him.

Her big change started during the first impeachment when she appeared on national TV alongside Gym Jordan. I guess the publicity went to her already swelled head and she's been full on Trump ever since.

I live less than a mile outside of NY-21. I regret I didn't have the chance to vote for her opponent though I donated to Tedra Cobb's campaign.

The big warning came when she appeared alongside Gym Jordan on national TV during the first impeachment hearing and she must have enjoyed the attention. And I've voted for all 3 of her opponents, though I never could figure why she was elected when Bill Owens, a moderate Democrat, retired. I made GOTV calls for his chosen successor, Aaron Woolf, went to the meetup where Bill Owens introduced him and I was very favorably impressed.

I'm just north of Glens Falls, south of Lake George. For most of my life we were District 20 - until the 2013 redistricting. Bill Owens was a competent Rep. and a nice guy, it was too bad that he retired. And you're spot on, Stefanik has been objectionable since she was first elected, but now she's become a national embarrassment.

Bill was ok, it was a while ago - I live near fort drum country. StefaniQ is rabid, in true trump fashion. She will never realize she's a tool to the orange maggot and nothing more. #trumpsfangirl

That was her first attempt to curry favor with the former guy, I think, and it was alarming. Little did we realize then exactly how far she would go. I still don't know how she managed to get elected in the first place. There were protesters near her office here from the very first day and they used to follow her around. She has become a national embarrassment.
