I usually work out with guys on back porch lifting weights yet not this morning. I’m going catch up on laundry we all pitch in around here.

7. Crazy us walked in the rain this morning - but with umbrellas.

It was a light rain and I fed the stray kittens under a large palm frond that kept the food totally dry. Was glad to find a dry place and will be using this from now on.

8. How lovely

three days ago I heard a kitten crying non-stop. After a while I heard a mother cat responding. I have a look around. Clearly one of three new kitties (about seven or eight weeks old) is stuck somewhere. This one got in the house when I opened the patio door to feed the rest of them. It then got stuck between an open window and the mesh screen on it. I had to go outside, get the small ladder and remove the screen. It worked - kitty ran on the patio and hid behind something. These three are really wild - don't know where they cane from but the strangest thing is that the one I rescued suddenly likes me and isn't afraid. I'm so glad because that one will help me tame the other two and carry them to the JSPCA.
