With Walmart and Costco and Publix eliminating mask mandates

Along with most states outside of New York and New Jersey Does anyone really expect any non-medical or airline related businesses to enforce a mask police after Memorial Day weekend?

And how long do you think the few remaining states will hold out?

I do not want to die and I do not want to kill others so those not vacc'ing have the opportunity and refuse, on them. But I am not killing so if people stop wearing masks not on me.

With International travel so prevalent, they will require masks for quite some time. Maybe years?

and transform into recommendations. It’s no longer sustainable when president and all news headlines say - take off that mask if you are fully vaccinated. We already know mixed messaging don’t work in pandemic so states have no choice but to follow CDC recommendations, otherwise people are very confused and lose trust in government. I actually like what CDC did - incentivize employees to get vaccinated if they want to drop masks. Employers don’t generally require vaccination but they certainly can follow CDC guideline and require for employees to wear masks unless they attests/show proof of vaccination. It is a brilliant move which I predict will keep vaccination momentum. Even the most vaccine hesitant do not want to wear masks at work indefinitely. While employers treat customers on an honor system, of course, it does not apply to employees. And most people do work or go to school.

I've got my vaccine, and I've got masks that I will continue to use. I am confident that I will be safe.

I agree we are at a point of diminishing returns with the vaccines. Everyone who wants one has had ample opportunity. If they are still resisting, there is not much we can do.

There will be a new wave of infections, but it will be among those who refuse precautions.

There is only so much we can do to help those who refuse to be helped.

Republicans are being ill-served by their leaders.
