My newly minted congressman Cliff Bentz is a Trumpy through-and-through. Difficult to believe that anyone could be more odious than Greg Walden, but here we are.

My little blue corner of Southern Oregon is a part of District 2 - the only district in the state with a Republican Representative. And Eastern Oregon is deep red.

We had a fantastic Dem candidate in 2018 and she worked her ass off - traveling across the entire huge area for months. She made some headway (actually won Greg Walden's home county), but it wasn't enough.

I have to be happy that our two Senators (Wyden and Merkley) are fantastic! That reminds me, I need to call their offices on Monday and tell them what a good job they are doing!

Good for you, kentuck, for reminding all of us who the bad guys are.

Democrats should spend money in every one of these districts and states and remind the people who these traitors really are.

...bent on the destruction of our Nation. Many Republicans are also foreign assets. They are at war with the Constitution, the American People, and representative self-government generally.

To quote a former President: They hate us for our freedoms. (He was full of shit when he said it, but it applies directly in the case of the Republican Party.)

The three branches of American gov't

“Our government wasn’t set up for one group to have all three branches of government — wasn’t set up that way,” Tuberville continued, saying incorrectly: “You know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.”

Those are not the three branches of government. As laid out in the Constitution, the three branches of the federal government are: the legislative, which includes both the Senate and House; the executive, which includes the presidency, and the judicial, which includes the Supreme Court.
