I was sure I remembered this, but my husband thought I was crazy. Part of the agreement when Bill and Melinda Gates' agreement (not pre-nup; they didn't have one) was that he could continue his annual vacation with an old girlfriend. But I was right!

The billionaire Microsoft founder made sure the bizarre arrangement was part of the deal when he married Melinda French in 1994, he told Time magazine in a 1997 profile.

“We can play putt-putt while discussing biotechnology,” Gates said of his private getaways with fellow nerd techie and ex Ann Winblad — who is now happily married to actor Kevin Kline’s detective brother, Alex Kline, a source told The Post on Tuesday.

I’m not sure why this whole divorce is a thing. Split the money and go on with life. The Bazos just went through this with little attention. Divorce happens everyday.

3. I was the girlfriend in a situation like that. I had

lunch with the guy one day and he told me he was planning to get married but wanted to keep up our relationship (such as it was by then). I turned him down flat, lowered my opinion of him and felt bad for his wife to be. The next time I saw him was a few years later in the supermarket. He had a carriage full of Pampers and looked very harried. I chuckled all the way home.
