It's like the parable of the prodigal son. You know, the one who stayed home and helped dad and did what was best got NOTHING, and the rotten little reprobate stumbles home drunk and broke, and Dad kills a fatted calf. Not fair.
But... virtue has to be its own reward.
(And anti-maskers probably would hate Hamilton-- black people? Puerto Rican director and star? Hip-hop music and dancing? So at least we can imagine that they'll be unhappy and walk out. )
