above said, it's some scary shit when what happening in Samoa when the elected officials (including their supreme court) are thwarted from exercising their governmental duties.

that a lot of how this will play out is how other countries deal with it? In other words, if they refuse to deal with the former leader and only deal with the newly elected leader, then their Former Guy is effectively powerless.

I'm watching a taped version of Rachel so I don't know if this point will be mentioned. She is just now mentioning Timothy Snyder.

It feels like every news cast is bringing extremely scary and bad news.

I find myself feeling like I'm on the verge of a full blown panic attack.

With every passing day justice is delayed. Obstructionists in the Senate continue on with their game. A number of state election results are being audited and systematically overturned to bring Trump back into the white house. The DOJ is obstructing the unsealing of the evidence of Russian Collusion in the 2016 elections... on and on and on

The bottom line is, Trump is rising out of what should have been the ash heap for him and his cult followers, and it's not over.

And he's still a free man. A dangerous, psychotic sociopathic crime boss, and it isn't over. He isn't even indicted, charged, prosecuted.

Should have been convicted by now.

Looks like it's never going to happen. With every passing day.

I come here to look for headlines that the Manhattan office has completed their investigation, filed charges, booking, arresting, prosecuting and convicting Trump and his family and organization.

A little tiny bit of "good news" brought to us by all of the usual talking heads strongly suggesting that is any day now. This has been going for months. Actually it feels like years.

Watching Rachael itrying her best to do more than inform, but scare us even more. And maybe that's something that has to be done for some in our population. But I'm past scared. I feel very insecure about our democracy, our President's ability to pursue his/our agenda given the level of obstruction aided and abetted among a couple of our own people in the Senate, and now the DOJ in their latest obstructionism towards bringing justice and truth to the public.

How in the hell can we possibly maintain any shred of optimism, needed to fight on? We need transparency and JUSTICE regarding the last administration, and we need our elections system protected in all of these states attempting to overturn 2020 results, and we need to see action in that regard right now. Actually last month and the month before then.

I just don't understand why the Feds, the DOJ are sitting on their hands and allowing this. I really really really don't understand it.
