In the wake of newz that TFG (the former guy) may be headed for indictment in the case against him and his organization, Megan McCain, thinks its unlikely to have much of an impact on his political future.
I actually think he wont end up running. I think he wants to see a lot of things that are happening in the world that he said would come true with Bidens policies, McCain said. Everything that Ive heard through different channels is that hes actually pretty happy right now and feeling good about his legacy.
Typical Republican doublespeak: no impact on his political future but hes not likely to run.
Yeah right. Im sure hes happy as can be.

(50,261 posts)If he pays his legal fees for a change they might be able to drag out all the proceedings until after the next election and if - too horrible to imagine - he won again he'd pull his "I'm the POTUS and you can't take me to court" schtick. In the meantime, either statutes of limitations expire or he croaks (best case scenario) and he evades it all again.
