As Grand Jury Convenes, Trump Changes Name of His Company to Eric Trump Organization
NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—After news broke that the Manhattan District Attorney was convening a grand jury, Donald J. Trump changed the name of his company to the Eric Trump Organization.
The former President made the announcement in a press conference at his signature Manhattan building, the newly renamed Eric Trump Tower.
“Changing the name of the company is no big deal,” he said. “It’s going to be the same company that it’s always been—with Eric Trump running the show and me just following his orders.”
“It’s only fitting to call this company the Eric Trump Organization, because Eric is responsible for everything it has ever done,” he added. “This is long overdue.”
Asked about the grand jury, Trump said, “From what I’ve heard, they’re going to be looking into Eric’s businesses quite strongly. I hope he hasn’t gotten himself into a big mess. He’s been a great boss to work for all these years, and I wish him well.”

It's so close to believable that you have to think for a minute - and I already knew that this was Borowitz! 
That's Trump's MO and that's what makes it so very close to believable!
However it does sound like something he might do in real life. I put nothing past him.

And the part I listened to was about his insane machinations to keep his failing casinos afloat (his Dad sent his driver to illegally purchase $3 million worth of chips!) and I realized again that anything's possible with this inept self-important blowhard!

I had no idea today was my DU anniversary or that I had been here for 18 years already! It's amazing and I am so grateful for this website for keeping me sane all this time!
Mine's in February, and for all this time, I wasn't sure exactly when I joined. For all these years it just said "Before July 6, 2003." Now I know - and I think it's very cool of EarlG to do this. Takes me back to when newyawker99 used to post Milestones and it meant so much. Congratulations, well done! And I feel exactly the same way - DU has kept me (relatively) sane through the ups and downs for all these years! 
It comes so close to being believable.
