3. The fact I had to ask tells a lot

Kilmeade has said some incredibly stupid stuff over the years. Like saying different human races were different species stupid.

If it’s a paragraph, it’s hard to tell it’s a caption.

I could have made it shorter by dropping the part about the left finding him a hero, but 1.) they did say this & 2.) it works better with this as a springboard.

Beside, we've been doing CAPTIONs like this at DU for over 20 years. Maybe it could more accurately be called a phrase from a satirical skit like you'd see on SNL. That might keep the professors happy, but it's clunky and, for that reason, ineffective as lead in for a joke.

My journal has over a thousand of these.

Your contention is noted, but I'm not in the business of being a good student (although I taught 37 years in an university English department).

Jokes are too important to throw dictionaries at them.
