The way to crack down on lobbyist is to simply ignore them and give them no time. Also gets rid of

dark money. We need more Dem Senators and more Dem Reps. that alone can get rid of dark money and stop lobbyists IF they just ignore them and refuse their money and say so in public.

There must be stronger regulations and something needs to be done about unlimited spending.

Since we all know the MOST important thing to any member of Congress is TO GET RE-ELECTED, there's no way they're ever going to pass something that would cut off a prime source of their funding.

Namely, the First Amendment to the US Constitution. It mentions, in part, "the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances".

This is what lobbyists do. Their job is to petition the government. Kind of hard to ignore a constitutional right to redress grievances.
