⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ Cole Beasley (pro football player) isn't vaccinated and is stupid.

Beasley took to Twitter hours after he said he spoke with the NFLPA soon after complaining about its jointly agreed-to policy with the NFL regarding COVID-19 protocols.

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley released a statement on Twitter on Friday in response to the sharp backlash he has received on social media, disclosing that he is not vaccinated and pledging to "live my one life like I want to regardless."

"I will be outside doing what I do," he wrote. "I'll be out in public. If your [sic] scared of me then steer clear, or get vaccinated. ... I may die of covid, but I'd rather die actually living.

"I'm not going to take meds for a leg that isn't broken. I'd rather take my chances with Covid and build up my immunity that way. ... I'll play for free this year to live life how I've lived it from day one. If I'm forced into retirement, so be it."

We have an abundance of unaware residents.

Not to hijack your thread but in 2014 Ralph Wilson passed away. Bon Jovi and TFG were bidding to buy the Buffalo Bills. TFG instructed Michael Caputo to convince Buffalo that if Bon Jovi got ownership, that he would move the team to Canada. Bon Jovi clearly stated that if he received ownership of the team, that it would be left in Buffalo where it belongs. Michael Caputo's lies about Bon Jovi wanting to move the team out of Buffalo got so bad that Buffalo DJ's wouldn't play his music and Buffalonians were mad at Bon Jovi. In the end, the Pegula's obtained ownership of the team.

I suspect that Beasley might be a tRumpist.

Or, do you believe your god created you and then that was it? It left you alone to do your own thing and act like a dumb shit? Maybe your god is testing the beings it created to see which ones it believes is smart enough to reside in heaven with it. To use your own idiotic argument for everything, "god works in mysterious ways."

So he can boast all he likes about not caring if he gets fined, that he'll play for free, etc, but he might not be playing period.

The league office does not take kindly to being publicly challenged like this, and teams get the message with a wink and a nod. See also Kaepernick.

testing and tracing? I suspect so, they don't want to lose money... So, this anti vax idiot and other half of the league of idiot anti vax idiots will have zero consequences and be allowed to play. NFL will control breakouts like they did this year, unless they get hit with uncontrolled Delta. That will be the game changer and then the NFL will start mandatory vax program. Until NFL sees a dollar risk, these anti vax players Will play.

The NFLPA and the NFL were finalizing rules and vaccinated players were having a lot easier rules, and unvaccinated were subject to harsher rules and fines. He thinks the NFLPA is selling him out by trying to get the point across to him to vaccinate.

For the NFL, it's just business. The cancelled games and moving schedule and lost stars for weeks on end sucked. They want to avoid that. It wouldn't surprise me if unvaccinated players get cut at end of camp. Non-stars like Cole just aren't worth the risk of missed games and spread to stars.

Buffalo has been adamant about people getting vaccinated, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

I used to like Beasley. He had a career year last year, but any adequate possession receiver would have done the same given the downfield, game-breaking receiving threats that team had last season.

Everything he said was stupid, but implying that there's some kind of dichotomy between getting vaccinated and "actually living" is beyond stupid and over the line into offensive, afaic.

I'm don't follow football and never even heard of Cole Beasley until today, but based on this, I really don't like him very much.
