Never forget this about Rumsfeld

In Dec. of 2001 or January of 2002 we had an elite squad of Rangers less then 1 mile of bin Laden's cave in the mountains of Afghanistan and he called them off. And why did he do that you ask? Because with Osama bin Laden dead they would have had a much harder time selling Cheney's war for Iraqi oil.

Rummy also signed off on PNAC's (project for a new American Century) letter to President Clinton asking for a war in Iraq.

That poor little Syrian boy laying dead on that Turkish beach was running with his family from ISIS which was created in the aftermath of Rummy/Cheney/bush's Iraq War.

Fuck him I hope he suffered.

war in Iraq cost hundreds of thousands of lives (yes, non-americans are still people) and destabilized the entire Middle East.

“Really? I’d heard it was only about 60,000.” Seriously. He said “only about” 60,000 human beings murdered by his orders.

Sorry, Georgie, I never have wanted and still do not want to have a beer with you.

Oh, and Iraq was Cheney’s and Rumsfeld’s war -- Bush signed off on it because he thought being a “war president” was cool. And together, the 3 of them brought hell on the people of Iraq and killed 5,000 American soldiers, more Americans than were killed by bin Laden.

Ah, but Rummy was not just a mass murderer and war criminal, like his two compadres. He was also a tiny-minded jerk who laughed, literally joked about, the pillaging of the museum of ancient artifacts in Baghdad. He told the media a-holes that, geez, all I see are people carrying off vases, one after another. I’ve never seen (heh-heh) so many vases getting carried by so many people (har-har). and the dull witted bastards of the press joined him in a hearty laugh about how our troops stood by while priceless and irreplaceable treasures of human history were stolen. (It turned out, later, much later, that many of those objects were returned by people who had taken them to protect them from destruction. Rummy and those press people did not know that. I still get angry thinking about it.)

In short: I’m glad he’s dead. I’m sad there’s no hell.

He wouldn't know Ma'at if she slapped the shit out of him. I don't know if Rumsfeld could even have all the shit slapped out of him because he was totally made of pure ugly evil shit.

The Frank Olson Murder

The fact that Frank Olson had died shortly after being given LSD in a CIA experiment came out in 1975 as a consequence of President Ford's Rockefeller Commission investigation into the CIA's domestic activities. Further investigation was called for, but in a White House memo advisers to President Ford stated that this would risk revealing state secrets (probably meaning, in part, the use by the U.S. of germ warfare in Korea); further investigation was suppressed and the whole matter covered up. The names of those White House advisers were Dick Cheney, U.S. Vice-President under G.W.Bush, and Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense under G.W.Bush. They have never been questioned as to what they knew about Olson's death.

I could find the reference but I remember a CBS report about how just about 1000 Rangers could have been the difference in Tora Bora.

Is that I know he got away with it. He caused so much pain and suffering and was never held accountable.

While that might risk seeming Nihilist, to me it just reaffirms just how important it is to bring evil people to justice and to celebrate good people.
