... he hasn't done it since, and he doesn't refer to Trump as "tfg". It's just a silly fad that people have glommed onto. It's not clever, nor is it original... but a lot of people think it makes them look cool and trendy. I'll be glad when it's over.

It's the left's equivalent of "Demon-crats" or "Lib-tards" etc. It's juvenile and it makes our side appear to be as petty as theirs.

Yuk.

It's NOT insulting or demeaning like "Lib-tard." Trump IS "the former guy," and it's a very Biden-like expression.

It's NOT insulting or demeaning like "Lib-tard."
It's demeaning to those who use it. And I've had fans of the term explain to me their believe that it is intended to be a "dis" or "insult" that demeans Trump.

All I'm saying is that this is a childish and juvenile response. He has a name and if people want to discuss him or his administration, then as adults we should use it and not put idiotic verbal and visual stumbling blocks into what could otherwise be interesting conversations or informative news.

We're all adults here. Let's act like it.

I do use "tfg", not because it's cool, or because everyone else is doing it.

I use it because I hate typing his name! Hell, I not only hate his name ... I don't even want to have to know he exists and has a name!

I realize that's silly, but I hate, hate, hate having to acknowledge him and his name.

Anyway, prior to me using "tfg" I'd just write out "donald". You know, less respect by puting us on first name basis.

I dislike when people say words like: rethuglicons. To me it cheapens their message. But I just ignore it, and move on.

I will admit that I crack up when someone calls him "Donny Two Scoops", lol)

This is just an extreme over-reaction that really serves no good purpose. I've heard all the "justifications" for continuing the fad (ranging from "Trump hates it" to "we're fucking with the Google algorithms" ... and everything in-between that's equally absurd).

It's trendy and will hopefully fall by the wayside, the same as: poodle skirts, hula-hoops, pet-rocks, bell-bottoms, platform shoes... and other trendy expressions like "groovy" and "swell" or "keen" or "23-skidoo" and "cray" or "bae".

But I just ignore it, and move on.
You're better than I am.

That would work IMHO is if someone cracked his financial network where every entity is protected. No dominoes. Or if someone figured out how to make a dent in his brainwashed population.
